Founder - Chairman & Managing Director, Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Born in the year 1958, Mr K Raghavendra Rao is a graduate in commerce and a Post-Graduate in Management from IIM-Ahmedabad. He has also acquired Costing (ICWAI) and Company Secretary (ACS) qualifications. Staring his career as the Financial Controller of Pure Ice Creams in Mumbai, Mr Rao later served in various key management positions in leading organisations like Ashok Leyland, Standard Organics Limited before he joined the Al Buraimi Group based in the Sultanate of Oman. Returning to India in 1992 he promoted Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd as a 100% export oriented unit (EOU) and grew the Company rapidly into a global pharmaceutical enterprise specializing in life saving medicines.
Mr Raghavendra Rao received several awards and recognitions for his personal and professional accomplishments. A few of his recognitions include the India Young Business Achiever Award, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Manufacturing. Mr Raghavendra Rao was also conferred the Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) by SASTRA University in 2007 for his entrepreneurial achievements and contribution to the growth of the Indian pharmaceutical industry.
The Government of India recognised Mr Rao with one of the highest civilian awards, the ‘Padma Shri’, for his contribution to the Pharmaceutical Industry. The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (Mr Rao’s alma mater) honored him with the Distinguished Alumni Award.

Managing Director, 3M India and 3M Lanka

Ajay Nanavati took over as Managing Director of 3M India in October 2008. He joined 3M India in 1988 as its first Indian employee and went on to spend the next five years building the India operations.
Ajay has since worked across various roles in 3M; he spent five years in Singapore leading 3M’s Telecom Business in the APAC Region, followed by 4 years in Austin, Texas where he was responsible for starting a new telecom services business for 3M. He then spent three years at the 3M headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota where he led the acquisition and integration of a US based company into 3M.
Ajay’s last assignment prior to leading 3M’s operations in India was as the Managing Director of 3M Israel.
Ajay is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the corporate world. He has earlier worked with companies like the Tata Group and Birla Group across various functions and geographies.
Ajay holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech., USA.

Pattabhi is the President of Australian Foods India Pvt. Ltd. He has been associated with the company since 2002 as Chief Operating Officer and took over as President in April 2005. Since then, he has implemented a series of measures to align the company’s operations with a strategic focus to leverage market opportunities, build the nascent industry as well as the Cookie Man brand. His efforts have helped the company to post a sustained growth in key markets across India and he now leads the aggressive growth strategy drawn up by the company.
Prior to joining Australian Foods, Pattabhi headed the operations for Satyam Cinemas in Chennai. Between 1996 and 2000, he worked in the hospitality industry with senior management assignments at Tulip Star Hotels and The Indian Hotels Company.
Pattabhi was a director of Landmark Ltd., from April 2006 to April 2008.
Pattabhi is also an active member of the Executive Committee of Kesari Educational Society, Chennai (a reputed charitable trust that runs two schools in Chennai).
Pattabhi lives in Chennai and travels extensively, both on work and for pleasure.

Sreekanth K. Arimanithaya joined Britannia on 1st February 2011 as Vice President & Chief of Human Resources. He is also in charge of Information Technology.
Sreekanth is a passionate HR professional, with a diversity of experience across industries, geographies and roles, having worked with TVS Motors, Phillips, General Electric and Toyota. He joined us from CA Technologies (formerly Computer Associates) where he last served as Senior Vice-President - Global HR Operations & HR Business Partner based in the USA.
Sreekanth is qualified in TQM and Six Sigma and is passionate about the comprehensive role that HR can and must play in delivering business results.

Mr. Rajan Chandrashekharan is the Senior Vice President at Scope International.
Prior to his current position he held the following positions:
  • GM at IBM Global Business Services.
  • Leader - Risk Management Practice at Dun & Bradstreet Predictive Sciences and Analytics
  • Vice President, Investment Finance at Citigroup Private Bank, Singapore
Mr. Rajan is a graduate from NIT, Trichy and then completed his MBA from National University of Singapore.

Director Climate Product Group (India & ASEAN) Customer Group, India.

Murali Vaidyanathan is director, climate product group for India & ASEAN and customer group, India for Visteon.
As the customer group director for Visteon in India, Murali is responsible for leading customer interactions and pursuits, working with all customers in India.
Murali is also climate product group director, responsible for all commercial interaction with customers and for program deliveries across India and the South East Asian region.
Before taking on this role, Murali held leadership positions in quality, new product development, purchasing and manufacturing at Visteon.
Prior to joining Visteon, Murali has served as the head of quality and later on vendor development for a leading producer of commercial vehicles in India.
Murali holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India.

As the Director Sales in TAKRAF India, Gopal is responsible for the sale of mining and materials handling equipment in South Asia. The global requirement of specialized materials handling equipment in cement and fertilizer/ chemical industry is also looked after by this team located in Chennai.
A Mechanical Engineer from IIT Bombay and Master from IIT Madras, he has served in Indian and Multinational firms in different capacities of Design, Project Management and Sales/ Marketing.

Saravanan Nanjankannan, or NK as he is known, is a technology industry professional, with over 20 years of experience in Europe, India, and the United States.
In his current role as the Vice President and Operations Head at Syntel, he is responsible for managing the Retail, Logistics, Travel & Telecom business. NK has been with Syntel since 1997. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of Capital Markets at Syntel and was based out of Boston, MA.
He obtained his Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from University of Madras and his MS Software Systems from BITS Pilani.

V. Ram is Vice President and Head of TCS’s Banking Technology Group. The group’s mission is to is strengthen our engagement teams to deliver a superior IT services’ outcome thru technology led differentiation. The group also constantly scans the banking horizon to look at the evolution in Banking Technology and how they can help customers address key industry challenges.
Since his formative years in 1990, he has been a part of and has personally led several large mission-critical Transformation implementations for TCS' BFSI clients across the globe. Two of the complex multi-million dollar programmes he led has won “Banker Technology Awards” from the prestigious UK based Financial Times Group – Banker Magazine highlighting the complexity and business value delivered to the clients.
Ram has also held a variety of senior positions, including
  • Head, Banking Practice
  • Director Transformation for Diligenta – a TCS subsidiary in UK and
  • Director for BFS Sales, TCS UK.
Trained in Programme Management, Technology and Banking domain, Ram is a hands-on team player and acknowledges that these successful implementations are a result of determination, diligence and a common purpose of a team. He attributes his growth in TCS to these virtues and holds them as the key mantras for an enriching career.
An Engineer by education and has been trained for higher roles, he has lived and worked over 10 different countries.
